Savory Fig Tart
My friend Dorita Pina gave me the inspiration for this dish as she recently made a Sweet Fig Tart and together we started thinking about how to use these beautifully ripe figs in a Savory Tart. I was also inspired by necessity as we have a gorgeous, old fig tree in our yard that was bursting with fruit. We're happy to share with the birds, but didn't want them getting every last fig.
